Celebrities who ghost tweet -- that is, they have other people write their tweets for them -- should be banned from the service. It's like telling someone to pretend to live your life for you, except without all the luxuries of a minibar.

Anyway, musicians have embraced Twitter with a vengeance. It's surprising it's taken this long, actually, seeing how the site is the perfect venue to keep fans in the loop. At the rate the site is growing, and judging by the success of Radiohead's online record release, Twitter could completely overhaul the music industry by becoming record label, management company and publicist all wrapped in one.

2009 Celebrity-Inspired Prom Looks



Celebrities pay stylists thousands of dollars to make them appear on the cutting-edge of fashion, while at the same time classic, cool and generally desirable. Here is your chance to outright rip them off. You won't necessarily call it that, per se, you'd call it "inspired by". But you get the point. This feature has three main elements: Celebrity, Gowns (red carpet / prom) and Hairstyles. So much time, energy and borrowed jewelry goes into getting these looks, it's worth checking out, at least for the voyeuristic aspect.
